The graduation commencement is a formal ceremony that demands special dress for our graduates and proper decorum for all. Expectations for behavior include respect for the event and a tone of soleminity. Please follow the stipulations provided for a successful graduation experience for students, families, and guest.
Doors at Community of Christ Auditorium open for guests at 6:15 p.m. Seniors should arrive at the Auditorium's assembly room no later than 6:15 p.m. on Monday evening for graduation. Graduates should enter the Auditorium through the west entrance and take the stairs or ramps to the lowest level. Do not bring purses, keys, or valuables to the assembly room expecting to leave them there during the ceremony. There is no one available to watch them or secure them. Leave these items with family members. The only things you should have with you in the room are those items that can be with you during the ceremony in the auditorium.

The Community of Christ Auditorium is a private building which serves as the World Headquarters of the Community of Christ Temple. It is designed primarily for religious purposes, however it is frequently used by other organizations and there are certain limitations applicable set by the church governance applicable to use the facilities. Please note the following:
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN GRADUATES HAVING DIPLOMAS WITHHELD AND MAY NOT ATTEND PROJECT GRAD.
On the night of graduation, Pearce Photo will be taking pictures of each senior receiving their diploma, as well as a group photo of the seniors throwing their graduation caps in the air immediately following the ceremony. All orders may be submitted prior to the ceremony directly to Pearce Photo either online at Pearce Photo or by calling Pearce Photo at 816-331-8586. Prices vary; please check the Pearce Photo website or call their office for pricing.
There is no area on the floor or in the aisles of the Auditorium for pictures, cameras, or video cameras. For safety, fire code regulations, and handicapped seating, opening spaces and aisles on the floor level will be kept clear.
The auditorium has four entrances: north, south, east, and west. The west entrance is the main parking area (off Crysler St.) of the auditorium. Reserved seating for graduates is provided. Uniformed police officers as well as off duty LSPD officers and a hired event security company will assist in crowd control, emergencies and traffic safety. View Driving Directions
The west entrance to the Auditorium has wheelchair accessibility and seating. A circle drop-off area is at the west entrance. The auditorium has other handicapped seating on the floor level east side. Elevators and ramps are available inside the auditorium. Parking is restricted to areas on the map as "Auditorium Parking" only. View Parking Map
If you do not pick up your diploma the evening of graduation, you may do so in the front office of Lee's Summit North begining Tuesday, May 15, 2018 during office hours from 7:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. daily Any student having an outstanding obligation (fines, owed discipline, community service) will not receive a diploma.
