Need tutoring in science? Science tutoring is available in-person and virtual on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-4pm if you sign-up. Simply fill in the form with your name and which session you’d like to attend. Note, we must have a minimum of 5 students signed up by 2:23pm to hold tutoring each day.

LSR7 Innovation Track is hosting a Virtual Open House on February 9th from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Register now to attend!
The Innovation Track is a dual enrollment program that offers students the opportunity to earn up to 15 hours of college credit, per semester, taken on the Metropolitan Community College, Longview Campus. Courses taken through the Innovation Track count for both high school and
college credit.
With the move to hybrid and 4-day in person learning, LSN will be on a daily schedule with 4 lunch shifts during 5th hour. Students will have staggered classroom dismissal times and return times to promote social distancing and student safety. Find your 5th hour teacher to determine your lunch shift. Teacher’s last names are color-coded by classroom dismissal time.

In February, the LSN Social Studies Department showcases biographies of Great Americans, National Parks, US Civil Rights Trail, Underground Railroad, HBCUs, and significant events as part of our Black History Month celebration.
Teacher of the Year Nominations are Due by January 31st. Parents and students, what a year we are having. We have amazing educators doing incredible things with and for students, and if you’ve worked with one this year, we hope you’ll consider taking time to nominate him or her for the Excellence In Teaching/Teacher of the Year awards.
Each year our school district, in conjunction with the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce, recognizes twelve Excellence in Teaching Award recipients, up to three Teachers of Distinction, and selects a Teacher of the Year.
