Wednesday, October 20, 2021 is Missouri Day, an official holiday of the state of Missouri that is celebrated each third Wednesday of October.
LSN teacher Tavish Whiting has traveled nearly 2,000 miles around the state of Missouri in the past five weeks creating 33 videos around various topics such as commerce, literature, statesmanship, science, art, and many more.
We hope you get a chance to explore and learn more about our native state on this Missouri Day by visiting his Missouri Day Website!

Please check back for instructions and the link to schedule your conferences. Meanwhile, feel free to reach out to teachers via email with any concerns or questions as we navigate this new style of learning.
To select October 21 or 28, click Next Selection in the upper left corner
All school pictures will be uploaded on pearcephoto.com. A week after taking your portrait, enter any email address and the student lunch number as the password to see your student’s photo and place an order for prints. For questions about viewing or ordering photos, please email info@pearcephoto.com.
We encourage seniors to dress up—suit and tie, dress shirt and tie, or collared shirt for gentlemen. Solid color dressier tops or sweaters for ladies. All students must follow LSN’s dress code policy. The following accessories and items are not allowed in portraits and students who are wearing or have such will be asked to remove them before their photo is taken: no headgear, no headphones, no sunglasses, no backpacks, and no purse straps. Students will be asked to wear a jacket if they are wearing off-the-shoulder tops, spaghetti straps, or shirts with inappropriate images or lingo. Students who are not in compliance with these rules will not have their photo featured in the yearbook.
Lee’s Summit North will be in a daily schedule this Thursday and Friday. Teachers will communicate with students if there will be a Google Meet for individual classes. This change is due to our transition to a hybrid schedule and the opportunity to provide freshmen a transition day on Friday.
With the move to hybrid, LSN will be on a daily schedule with 4 lunch shifts during 5th hour. Students will have staggered classroom dismissal times and return times to promote social distancing and student safety. Find your 5th hour teacher to determine your lunch shift. Teacher’s last names are color-coded by classroom dismissal time.
