Decision Day 2022

Decision Day is coming – May 6, 2022. Let’s celebrate – lots of fun activities, games, prizes, and more. Keep on reading…

On Decision Day, we celebrate senior students committing to pursue their education past high school. Whether you want to earn a two-year degree, a four-year degree, a certificate or industry-recognized credential, or enlist in the military, we want to celebrate you! Traditionally, we celebrate on May 1, but given that it is a Saturday this year, we will celebrate on May 6th during fifth hour lunch shifts in the Commons.

There are many ways to celebrate, for both our online and in-person students.

#1: WEAR A T-SHIRT – POST TO SOCIAL MEDIA!

On May 6th, wear a t-shirt indicating your post-secondary plan.  Post pictures on social media using the hashtags #LSNDecisionDay and #BetterMakeRoom.

#2: VISIT THE DECISION DAY TABLE – MAY 6TH – TREATS & GAMES

In-person seniors can check in at the Decision Day table during lunch on May 6th to get a Class of 2022 sweet treat, play games, win a raffle prize, take a picture in our 360 photo booth and pin a map with their future destination.

CAREER CENTER SENIORS – YOU WON’T MISS OUT….

If you are an in-person senior who is normally out of the building during lunch, you are welcome to attend first lunch (11:04 – 11:28 am) on May 6th to celebrate Decision Day. We want to celebrate you!  Career centers will be alerted that there is a school activity happening during this time so you can be excused, but you will still need to communicate with your career center teacher and attendance office that you are planning to be gone during that time.  Bus times will remain the same.
